Imbolc and the Ascent of Spring

It is only patriarchal religions that have enforced a sense of, and adherence to, Linear Time.

The Gregorian Calendar is an example of this.

 The Celts named the cross quarters Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasad and Samhain.
