Judy Collins sings a beautiful rendition of “In the Bleak Midwinter,” …I scoured the web for the best version and I do believe that this is it!

So many traditions and cultures across the globe celebrate this special time…a time of rebirth and renewal.
As we prepare for the shortest day, let’s celebrate in light…
Well I’m certainly late to this party! Actually, I’ve been reading your blog posts from the beginning. Thank you for sharing Judy Collins’ rendition of In the Bleak Midwinter. It is one of my very favorite Christmas carols. Beautiful to listen to, a spiritual experience to sing. We sent our daughters to a Waldorf school and I belonged to a small festival chorus comprised of school staff and parents. We sang this song every year at the holiday bazaar. Like I said, spiritual experience to sing.
Such warm and inviting vignettes you have of your home! Makes me want to curl up with a cup of coffee, a good book and some music!
That is a lovely compliment and thank you! I love to post such vignettes…what a wonderful word!
