Floor painting!

The floor is concrete, so to keep it cheerful, I paint it every year or two.

This is the colour it was…and the walls blue.

However, over the course of the winter, the stove began to billow smoke, getting worse as the time progressed.

This inevitably caused the walls to discolour…well, that and leaving a pot of vegetables boiling frenetically on the stove one day, which in turn caused an inordinate amount of steam to condense on the walls and run down in cascades of grey dire…so, you have the overall picture!

The past two days have been spent in overalls, painting…
