I love art and endeavour to surround myself with colour and creativity as much as possible.
The artwork of the Celts holds a particular fascination for me, especially the use of colour and knotwork.
I’m particularly fond of Celtic artwork.
And even use it on the seed packs I post out all over the world…
and the cards I make!

The spiral symbols represent eternal life, and the intricate knotwork, spiritual growth.
The key patterns are a continuation of spirals and form complex labyrinths.
This is one of my favourite throws as the design of the labyrinth represents the spiritual search for the Divine.

I love the serenity of the Celtic tarot, the swirls and interwoven lines are very contemplative…easy to lose oneself in the illustrations.
Talking of Missy, she is acting in a very strident fashion at the moment and intimidating Sam and Che…very naughty!

Thanks for the heads up about this deck! I have many decks, but am always looking for ones that resonate. Since I have such a strong connection to Celtic symbolism and tradition, this looks like a wonderful addition to my collection.
The Book of Kells & Durrow contain pages which are bordered with interlacing knotwork – it was used (it is thought) to protect the image or text on the page and was believed to have apotropiac properties-warding off evil.
