Our personal journeys are sacred and find sacredness as they cross paths with other sentient beings.
As Christopher Hitchens said towards the end of his life, “there is only love.” …an Atheist who honoured his humanity.
The love we express forms an energy that feeds into the well-being of all life.
Good vibes and bad vibes…we can relate to what they mean.
Isn’t it wonderful to spend time in the company of good vibes?
C.S.Lewis said…”There is no safe investment. To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket — safe, dark, motionless, airless – it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable.”
Somewhere, in all of this, is what I am trying to say…that there is a connection between our actions and the energy field of the Earth… our world is truly what we make it to be.
We feed into the very air of life, the atmosphere of the Earth.
The Earth resonates on the same Hz as our brainwaves…a reason to love and be loved, don’t you think?
We breath deeply from that collective force of life.

Hi Colette, I think you are so absolutely right. There is a lovely exercise to do – you may already know it – which really enables a person to breathe with and become one with Nature. Choose a plant, a tree or shrub or a flower and sit with it quietly and when you feel that the plant is aware that you are there begin breathing with it. As you inhale imagine that you are taking in the oxygen from the plant and as you breathe out imagine the plant breathing in the CO2. Knowing that the molecules of air have been inside you and inside the plant you realise that you are actually sharing molecules – you ARE the plant, you are truly a part of Nature. Have a great day. x
How wonderful…this sounds like a great exercise and I shall try it at Bealtaine today!

Lovely post from Bealtaine Cottage x
Thank you Colette! Maybe one day I will be able to come and share a big pot of tea with you.
I’m going to hold you to that promise!
Once again, you have brought tears to my eyes. I had many differences and problems in my relationship with my mum. Many times and for years I was angry with her for hurting me. I was with her when she died and she turned away from me.
You are so right, because all that is left is love. I try to tell my children not to hold grudges against each other and just let all the silly things go, but they haven’t learnt yet. I hope they don’t leave it too late. Oh dear, I can’t stop crying.
It was a comment made by Christopher at his very last book signing and it was in response to a question asked by a child.
My mother also fought her own demons and I understand and love her more so now she is gone. I now see her as a woman first and a mother second. The world has treated women most harshly. In the end, there is only love…isn’t that wonderful?
A big pot of tea is ordered!!! Put love and laughter out there…we need lots of all three!
🙂
Thank you so much for your beautiful postings and removing my comment! Perhaps you would like to see what I am doing in the way of hoophouse gardening and goddess landscaping here in Southern California: http://www.backcountrygardener.com Sending many blessings your way, Lisa
