Even though the day has been drizzly, most of it has been spent out on the land, cutting, pruning and clearing. The paths need cutting back to keep them open. It’s hard work, but there’s lots of brushwood and thicker bits for the stove. Leaves are laying a thick and colourful carpet on the ground. It’s good to be outdoors. The air is invigorating!
