On this beautiful day in the west of Ireland…Potting on seedlings, dealing with slugs and enjoying a bit of a rant! When something is not right, then it’s just not right!
I agree with you about the shenanigans. There are lots of schemes to take people off the live (I missed the v and it spelled lie – maybe that is more correct??!!) register and yet they don’t actually increase anyone’s skill base or lead to real jobs. I always think of the old fairy stories where the wicked king would tax his people dreadfully until a fairy or a handsome prince came along and saved the day. Where is our fairy god mother or handsome prince? How can politicians disrespect the people so much? It’s getting worse – WHY do we put up with it? AARRGGHHH!!!!
I think you are getting more sun than here in West sussex, but at least it is dry for a while and it makes a change to be able to start work in the garden, after what seems like months of rain. As for the politicians, would you believe a word they say? We are faced with the “in out referendum”. Apparently, Mr Obama is going to grace us with his presence soon, to persuade us to stay in. I’m sure that will help us all to decide.
It’s difficult for people to make an informed decision, when they aren’t informed, if you see what I mean. I’m actually chuckling as I write this!

I regard the shenanigans as a pantomime…now watch them from that perspective and laugh! Which one is the wicked stepmother…in drag…
A sanctuary among the chaos.

It is rare to meet a humane, compassionate politician.
