With each day that passes, more aspects of the Awakening come to pass.
Yesterday morning, as I walked in the early light in the Lughnasadh Garden, imagining how it would look and feel in the next Summer, something I yearned deeply for came to pass…and just as I had imagined it!
A Flight of Swans was to be heard in the distance, somewhere above and behind my head.
Looking up, this way and that, I saw them, in their changing formation, as they banked and turned directly above me, towards the East, to head off in the direction of Lough Allen.
This is happening more frequently…that my wishes come to pass, as though my mind is being read. 
I have read that the spirit of Mother Earth is trying hard to connect to our conscious thoughts…and even our dreams.
This suggestion resonates with me…perhaps it also resonates and carries meaning with you?
I have come to understand that all the sentient beings who come to live here at Bealtaine, are manifestations of the spirit of Mother Earth…becoming part of my own journey and awakening.
…and the understanding and acceptance of this wonderful connection is of great comfort and bestows more hope than could ever be imagined.
There is much written and talked about Awakening.
The Awakening to who we really are.
I believe it to be much less complex, in that we are being enfolded in the love of Mother Earth, the Great Creatrix.
This is the essence of pure love and deep joy…when we open our hearts to Mother Earth…
…the great Awakening…
…connecting with the Spirit of Mother Earth. Not thinking, but feeling!

Hi Colette, We have been without internet for two months or so and being away from your blog for so long has been difficult, causing withdrawal symptoms. So glad we are back on line. Lots of postings to catch up on. What a wonderful gift the swans were – telling you that all you do is in line with Mother Earth’s plan. Beautiful blog, Collette. Thank you. I live near a Canal and although have never seen a flock of Swans in flight, we do see one or two quite frequently. It’s a wonderful, powerful sight. Makes me catch my breath. Blessings to you xx
It is indeed, evoking the deepest feelings of connection to all life.
Beautifully expressed! They are very wonderful, those moments when the outer world comes into full harmony with the inner world. When we feel in complete harmony with everything around us. Serendipitous synchronicity. When there is a need I hold a request in my heart for changes in the weather, much as I might envision a parking spot where parking can be hard to find, or a smooth flight when stormy weather is forecast, and virtually without fail the request is answered. I suppose I should not be surprised, since we are not separate, are connected to everything around us, but this harmonious synchronising never fails to delight me. It only requires inner stillness on my part, a continual choosing of how I wish to be within myself.
And you have articulated this apparent magic so succinctly!
The magic lies in the swans using Bealtaine to orient themselves, as they changed course to their destination, like a way-pointer. It must please their spirit to see this little oasis of life beneath them.
I had not thought of it in this way…thank you so much for pointing this out…it makes sense in terms of energy fields and Ley Lines. Blessings X Colette
