IMG_8473The evening has drawn in without my noticing, a sure sign of Autumn quickening towards Samhain.

IMG_8474I have walked the woodland gardens this evening and made a video.

IMG_8471It’s so much easier to upload videos with my new laptop now that both phone and laptop are compatible.

IMG_8460I have missed the regular writing I do here on the website and was pondering on what to do in order to make the time for this?

IMG_8457This website was my very first and enduring foray into the world outside of Bealtaine Cottage.

IMG_8456I have decided to make this website a priority above FaceBook and Twitter…those who want to will find and subscribe here.

IMG_8452I may even get back to a daily journal of sorts…we shall see!

IMG_8454There are stories to be told and pictures to share…

You may have noticed the change of title at the top of the website…this is because Bealtaine has evolved and is very determined to be a woodland…She was always wilful!

  1. I can not find a your lovely new calendar you talk about for 2022, and did not wan to miss out ordering one, so that when you get them printed, I will be on your mailing list for one please?

  2. I love your blog and always return to it. It’s very different from the videos and tweets. I prefer the quietness of reading accompanied by the beautiful photographs. I hope you will continue it. xo, Liz

  3. Hello Colette,
I love reading your blogs, it transports me to a happy place. Your ideas on permaculture have changed the way I think and live. I’m sure my family think I’m a little crazy since I retired! However, I feel regenerated with lots of ideas to help Mother Earth .
Thank you Colette and blessings to you xx

  4. Hello Colett I order 2 books and 2 maps from you last week and used “pay pal” as you requested but not sure if they gave you my address…. Anne Shewell 220 W. Saginaw hwy. Unit B-8 Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837 USA

  5. I love the addition of Woodland Sanctuary I always believed Nature to be a willful force and will not be tamed. Living in Florida the change of seasons are very subtle so visiting your blog is one way to experience the beauty and color of nature when I can’t get to see it for myself.

  6. I too am so happy to find a blog post from you. I originally found Bealtaine through your blog many years ago, and while I really enjoy your videos and Facebook posts, for me the blog is on another level entirely, with its beautiful photographs and luminous writing. Blessings.

  7. Colette, I am so glad to see your blog return. Even though I live in a very different climate and environment, I am inspired by your thoughtful and informative writing and photos. Do keep it up!
    Betty

  8. I don’t use Facebook or Twitter, so I am very pleased to know you will be posting more on your beautiful website. It is a wonderful companion to the stunning videos and your publications. I can’t tell you how many times I came home from a soul-sucking work day to find peace in Mother Earth at Bealtaine. Thank you Colette.

  9. I’m so glad that you are back to writing on the blog, each visit fills my heart with Joy & Peace. I love the Woodland as well, as I live in the forest this suits me well. I am awaiting the arrival of the new Calandar.

  10. Yes. I enjoy the videos always but I also love the blog and I’ve missed it. It is how I found you in the first place so I may be a little biased……. The lead picture on this page of Sammy and Jack looks a bit like a tiny Sam is balanced on Jack’s snoot. 🙂
