The evening has drawn in without my noticing, a sure sign of Autumn quickening towards Samhain.
I have walked the woodland gardens this evening and made a video.
It’s so much easier to upload videos with my new laptop now that both phone and laptop are compatible.
I have missed the regular writing I do here on the website and was pondering on what to do in order to make the time for this?
This website was my very first and enduring foray into the world outside of Bealtaine Cottage.
I have decided to make this website a priority above FaceBook and Twitter…those who want to will find and subscribe here.
I may even get back to a daily journal of sorts…we shall see!
There are stories to be told and pictures to share…
You may have noticed the change of title at the top of the website…this is because Bealtaine has evolved and is very determined to be a woodland…She was always wilful!

I can not find a your lovely new calendar you talk about for 2022, and did not wan to miss out ordering one, so that when you get them printed, I will be on your mailing list for one please?
I love your blog and always return to it. It’s very different from the videos and tweets. I prefer the quietness of reading accompanied by the beautiful photographs. I hope you will continue it. xo, Liz

I love the addition of Woodland Sanctuary I always believed Nature to be a willful force and will not be tamed. Living in Florida the change of seasons are very subtle so visiting your blog is one way to experience the beauty and color of nature when I can’t get to see it for myself.

Yes. I enjoy the videos always but I also love the blog and I’ve missed it. It is how I found you in the first place so I may be a little biased……. The lead picture on this page of Sammy and Jack looks a bit like a tiny Sam is balanced on Jack’s snoot. 🙂
