  1. Colette, I’ve just heard your Moving Forward podcast and hear sadness in your voice. No wonder. What a shame you’re having to endure that.
Sadly there are a lot of people who seem to make it their business to try to upset others.
These people must have sad, little empty lives and possibly even mental disorders like antisocial/sociopath personality disorders of some kind…
I pity those sad, empty creatures. They must be deeply unhappy…because no one who is happy, content, fulfilled, evolved and loved feels the need to actually dedicate time to upset others. They are empty voids and want to pull others into their voids.
While it is probably very difficult (!) the best way to deal with such negative energies is to ignore them.
Maybe at a push…even send love their way (for clearly they are in need of it) and then brush them away.

Not easy when people subscribe you to stuff (!).. but you’re strong, you have your tribe and we love you. ❤️

    P.S. Big hugs to Jack!

    • Thank you Keri XXX I have moved forward from that, trying to accept the nonsense and futility that whirl around me sometimes…but, feel much protected by the love of the Great Goddess. XXX

  2. Dearest Colette , why oh why do people have to be so nasty ? I think it’s jealousy, because they have nothing better to do in their sad little lives .All you do for Mother Earth and all you share with us is amazing . In fact you are one amazing lady , and for every troll out there , there are thousands of us that love you and love Bealtaine cottage ( and darling Jack of course ) .Enjoy your time out and try to rest a little and we will all be here waiting for you , you beautiful Earth Angel . Blessings to you both my lovely friend xxx❤️❤️❤️

    • Thank you so much dear Melanie…living alone I can become a bit despondent at times, though not often, but at these times I do question things. I need reassurance sometimes as everyone does…Jack understands!

      • I am sure jack understands , for he is a very wise boy . His beautiful eyes show so much wisdom . Yes I think we do need reassuring, especially during these times . You have bought so much joy to so many sharing your beautiful home and woodland garden , with 99% of likeminded people , but remember Colette we are also here for you too . Blessings my dear dear friend xxx❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

  3. Having listened to your podcast, I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve had to contend with.   You’re doing an impressive and wonderful job on social media – I truly don’t know how you find the time to do so much.  Rhubarb crumble and tart sounds delicious!  Wishing you all the very best and thank you for all the sharing you do from Bealtaine Cottage. X

  4. Dear Colette, I listened to your podcast and my heart goes out to you. A big hug and “thank you” for everything you do! Keep shining your beautiful light. Much love to you and Jack. xxx

  5. Someone must be terribly jealous to set the trolls on you. How awful for you. I hope you take care of yourself. I love taking walks with you and Jack. It is so peaceful and lovely there in your gardens. Blessings to you and may you find peace in mother nature.

  6. Hello! You spoke about a membership based website that helps sustain your work and I am very interested in finding out the details to see if it’s something I can handle monthly. I must be getting the spelling wrong or something because I can’t find it on-line. Can you point me to it when you have a moment? Thank you for sharing your amazing work with the world.

  7. Thank you so much, it is lovely to finally know what a podcast does especially being vision impaired. I do enjoy living alone and having my own company too, my freedom is very special to recharge my energy as being an empath people tend to drain my energy levels. I hope I can find this podcast again. Blessings to you and Jack 💕🇦🇺

  8. Dearest Colette,
Thank you so much for the heartfelt talk. I so hope you can relax and find some peace. I know you are not super woman, but from this side of the monitor, and the world, it sometimes seems so. I am often amazed at the amount you contribute to the beauty of this world.
I recently lost my ability to comment on You Tube due to many hateful persons and an easy to remember screen name. The horrible things some humans are capable of saying, and doing never ceases to befuddle me. When the comments were loading up in my email, I could only report the harassment, in turn I was told I was inappropriate. My only regret is not being able to participate in Your comment sections.
Your beautiful videos and lovely narrations have so kept me company in these isolated and often terrifying times. The little trees and various hundreds of plants in my garden need me to tend them, they also have been a blessing. I even did as you mentioned simply pushing little tree cuttings right into the soil to see if they will grow. Hawthorn stems, and they are still supple so there’s hope. Thank you for all you do Colette, you are truly a blessing.

    • Thank you Sage…this is why I am so determined to keep the sanctity of this website in place. It has become my own personal “backstop’ over the years. Feel free to comment here, for it is only the most sincere and decent people who visit and belong to this website. With so much disillusion in the world we need to have our tribe of like-minded folk around us. Blessings XXX

  9. Dear Colette and Jack! I am so sorry you’re being trolled. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior. Glad you’re able to dismiss it even though it is disturbing. I love your posts and all you share about your beautiful gardens and home. It is a balm and a comfort for me, especially during this time of isolation. I appreciate you so much and all that you do. Take good care of yourself! I’ll look forward to your return after you have a good rest and take some time for yourself! Much gratitude and love to you and Jack!! -Ruth

  10. Take as much time as you need to regroup and rejuvenate. We so appreciate the efforts you make to keep us up to date on your activities. Give Jack a kiss for me and enjoy your much deserved rest.

  11. Dear beautiful Colette and gorgeous, darling Jack. These are certainly testing times, for all kinds of reasons, so I would like to send you a wee message, which I understand is an Irish saying: ‘These things, I warmly wish for you – Someone to love, some work to do, a bit of o’ sun, a bit o’ cheer. And a guardian angel always near.’ Have a really well-earned break Colette. You’ve certainly earned it. (And, we all know what happened to that pesky, fretful troll that lived under the bridge, don’t we… an unpleasant, watery end.) Thank you for all your wonderful films, thoughtful words and inspiring books, You help me, so so much, through these lockdown days and always cheer my spirit. Blessings to you both. Anna xx

  12. Dear Colette,

I am listening to your podcast for February 11th….. I truly understand what you’re experiencing. I live in Hampton, VA here in the USA. (Right up the road from Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, etc.) Since this new U.S. Presidential Administration took Oath, I have been bombarded with NUMEROUS horrible adult texts & emails. And I am on the USA “Do Not Call Registery”, too!!!! I’m like you…. It’s unnerving to have to be exposed to such disgust!!!!

Be strong, and please stay the sweet person you are. You are such an intuitive person & have helped me (and countless others!) to find my happy place in these troubled times. Colette, my ancestry goes wayyyyyy back to Ireland & England… and yet, there are times I feel that my heart never left either place.

    Blessings to you always,
    Pam

  13. Dear Colette,
I feel you must be a sister from another Mother! I so understand your comments for they are usually my thoughts exactly. I recently was forced to sell my home here in California and when I returned to retrieve a chicken that did not cooperate in the move, I was devastated to see my beloved garden that I had worked in for over 20 years, completely destroyed by a back hoe and tractor in two days! Not only was I displaced but all the critters that had made their home for the winter. (My home was in the mountains about 6,000 feet).
I am trying to stay positive and move forward but at soon to be 64 years old, its not easy. This is why I want to thank you for all that you do and the inspiration given to so many around the world.
    You deserve all the blessings!
Keep up the good work as we need more like minded people such as yourself.
    As always,
    Dawn

    • Such a sad story of destruction, but, as Maxine Hong Kingston famously said…In a time of destruction, create something! And you will for you have plenty years of creating in you! Blessings X

  14. How sad that you are being trolled like that! I don’t blame you at all…do what you need to do to stay healthy and happy; as you do for Bealtaine. Your channel and FB live streams have been such a wonderful inspiration for me, and I wish I could do more to help out.
Blessings to you, Colette, and to Jack, and to the magical work you are doing with Mother Earth.

    • I have, just now, hauled in a walking machine (a manual one) to get me exercising more, for that encourages the production of happy hormones! It’s been stressed to me that my walking needs a workout!

  15. Nice to get two posts from you here. And these emails you have been getting, what? So odd! I like the podcast format. I usually dont listen to podcast, but yours are quite nice. I dont use social media, I solely use youtube and read few things online.

  16. I’m so sorry you are being trolled. Anonymity can bring out the worst in unhappy people, and social media aids and abets this all too often because all those clicks brings in advertising revenue. By all means, take a break, and don’t feel you need to apologise for doing so. Many bloggers do this very thing, recharging their batteries in the process. Take care of yourself.

  17. Blessings dear Colette. You are still very inspiring. I wish those trolls didn’t cause you distress. I told myself this morning “don’t read the comments ” three times. We are getting inundated with very sad hateful people. I keep think social media can do so many good things if only…I guess the world needs more positive people. And I believe you and I are here for just that reason. Love and peace🌍

  18. I would love for you to show us, you, growing more veg. This is what I am going to try to do this year. I am going to try to grow as much perennial veg as possible. I have just planted a fruit forest so am looking forward to seeing that grow. I love watching your videos, you have given me so much inspiration and knowledge. Please don’t let the idiot trolls get to you. Blessings to you and Jack xx
