Walking

I have been away for a few days, visiting my granddaughters in Belfast, and now happily back home and taking Patsy for a walk. She has been in the kennels for a few days. As an ardent cat chaser, I cannot take her with me to Belfast as my daughter has a very old cat.

Walking Patsy is always a great time to think and ponder on recent events.

What comes to mind is probably the same as many of you are thinking about too, that is the rising chaos and uncertainty that appears to be ahead of us.

As the matriarch of my family it is important for me to be a stabilising influence on those I care for. To this end I must focus on reassuring my children and grandchildren that all will be well. It is difficult at times when one is aware of world events and all the nonsensical witterings of politicians.

It really does seem that nothing makes sense anymore! We appear to be living in an upside down clown world! So, as you can imagine, the world my children have inherited from my generation seems quite unfathomable and outside of all logical sense!

However, I know from my own experience in life that this too will pass.

There is a new world being birthed and with all new life comes great hope. I have great hope for the future and have more confidence in my children’s generation than most people.
