International Goddess Day
Celebrating a day dedicated to the Divine Feminine this 13th day of November.
I will be celebrating the Sovereign Goddess Ériu.
Ireland is named after the goddess Ériu, who, along with her sisters Banba and Fódla, was one of the goddesses who met the invading Milesians. Ériu asked for the island to be named after her, a request that was granted, leading to the modern name Éire (Ireland). She was a sovereignty goddess who symbolized the land itself.
