  1. Dear Colette,
Here in Argentina, during the confinement of 2020, an elderly lady was sunbathing in a square in Buenos Aires and the police went to tell her to go back home because that wasn’t allowed, she was a cancer patient and told them that she needed the sun to make her feel better and strong, the police insisted and wanted to arrest her for that, she said that she would be there just for half an hour and then go but they denied her that right and she finally had to go back to her home, across the street. She was a brave woman, tiny little warrior she was.
Your podcast is full of wisdom, as usual.
    Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

  2. This is a wonderful history and explanation of Bealtaine. I learn so much from your podcasts. I love and revere nature and the celebration of light’s return and fire is natural, essential. I came from English/German folk but rejected all the Christian urging because I lived in the woods in Canada and they imprinted on me from birth, lured me to their side. Blessings.🐇

  3. Lovely chat, Colette. Thanks so much for bringing us into Bealtaine in such a welcoming way! ❤️

  4. Funny how that occurs. I am 76yr old vegan ,was veg from 19yrs. No meds, fit extra.
    Interesting podcast .Thanks

  5. Many thanks, Colette!! I so enjoy our chats!! Thank you for still doing them. I have two questions – if they aren’t appropriate here – I apologize. About doctor visits. I am constantly pressured to get a colonoscopy. I have done one and the prep was barbaric. Do you participate in this testing? Or do you just trust that your lifestyle supports your health? Or…have you heard of another way to test – than this primitive method? Second question. Do you think a vegan diet is healthy for our pets? I have a 9 year old dog and 12 year old cat. Thank you for any insight into these two questions. I respect your input. This was a great podcast. Blessings, dear Colette to you and little Pasty!! Merry Bealtaine!! xo

    • Dear Laura, Why the Colonoscopy? I have no reason to have one. Surely there has to be a reason for such an invasive procedure?
As for my vegan lifestyle…I made the decision for myself and would not expect anyone including pets to follow me in that. Blessings X Colette

  6. So excited for the Bealtaine season to be upon us! I am looking forward to “rekindling” a beloved festival of my ancient ancestors with a beautiful assortment of homemade foods, flower crowns and special hand~picked flower arrangements for special friends in my life. I happily embrace all you have shown us through your wonderful YouTube offerings Colette! My life has become full of joyfulness and gratitude, honoring Mother Earth, and all who have loved her~past and present.
Blessings in abundance to you and yours this holy and blessed season💚

  7. Loved the Podcast Today, Colette. Bealtaine or May is the
pre-summer for us who lives in Sweden.
For us Nordic people, the MidSummer Solstice is thr most important
Featival, Alongside Yule (Jul) in the winter.

But around the first of May, We in Sweden have something we call “Gökotta” which .
is done VERY early in the morning, the day of the “Gökotta”, when we pack a nice
Breakfast Picknick and then take walks out in the wild nature to listen to the
Cuckoo and to eat our Breakfast out in the nature….
    Blessings from Sweden!

  8. This was enjoyable and informative Colette, thank you. I enjoy the photographs of your woodland. I live in growing zone 3 changing to 4 so we here do not share your long growing season but I truly love seeing the green around your cottage. I for one appreciate it when you share your thoughts on living, celebrating, writing and cooking. I will glean what I can from them and trust that you know your own mind and health. Lots of love and hugs.
