There is a growing consciousness of need in humanity today.
There is an urgent need to be close to the Earth.
Many of you feel this most powerfully.
Many of you are seeing the world for the first time…with eyes wide open, almost startled by the immense beauty of it all.
The vibration of the planet is rising and has been doing so for several decades now.
With this rise in vibrational energy comes the Awakening of Humanity.
Do you feel the joy of being in Nature?
Invocation
Gaia,
you who cradle uranium and the rose
in your arms–
in this vast mysterious universe,
my very bones belong to you.
You witness my love affair
with the tall grass, wind, fox:
my senses–your holy communion.
I stand on your soil
in sunlight, starlight, moonlight,
rain, eclipse and earthquake,
offering a timeless prayer.
I walk in the spirit of you.
Earth. Mother, Ge.
I speak in your tongues.
I plant your seeds.
Attend my dreams.
Clarify my thoughts.
Inform my acts.
And every day at dawn,
seize my heart anew.

As a child, I spent most of my time immersed in nature, learning lots of things. In recent years following suffering, I have found my way back to nature. It is in nature I feel most alive, calm and at peace.

You speak the greatest truth!
Do you not think that a more old-fashioned and gentle life is what we designed for? That sitting in high rise offices with recycled air is the worst possible thing for human beings to put themselves through? It’s an artificial lifestyle. In past times people spent more time outdoors, they walked far more, and even the long dark nights were used to wind down and sit, and talk. We got so clever and did away with all that, now stress and illness levels are through the roof.
The lifestyle designed for and around the world of commerce and crazy economics has led to stress and human deprivation on an extraordinary level. The tipping point has been reached!
Blessings X

I thought I had reblogged this beautiful post, but apparently it was meant to be today. Laura had shared it several days back, which brought it to my attention, but today as I was reflecting on the increased need over the years to be with myself and the relationship I have to the Earth and Cosmos, it came to mind again. And so I’m sharing it with you. The message is simple, the photos inviting and renewing, and the poem…truly hits home in the heart. As I head out here shortly for some time in nature – not sure where it will lead…to ocean or hills…I am in constant reminder of the partnership with Mother Earth that guides my heart and fuels my actions. YES, I feel the joy of being in Nature.
Thank you, Colette. This was very healing for me today.
Blessings to you.
Very well said Collette – there is a great need for the world to wake up or put on new glasses xx

It’s now spring and I spent the weekend outside enjoying God’s creation! No matter where you are, there are beautiful sights to be seen all over. When we were stationed at Fort Huachuca I enjoyed the beautiful mountains, loved the parks in Georgia and now taking in the views of the Ozarks around Fort Leonard Wood. I love this blog from Beltaine Cottage, because she always has the most gorgeous pictures and beautiful words. Check it out!
How very true. Spring definitely strengthens its pull on me. I awake to the first pricks of light and the dawn chorus. My garden begs to be tended and I start to feel “prickly” at having to spend so much time in an office.
What a lovely post and those photos are beautiful.
What a beautiful post and so full of the possibilities, the urgency and the elegant sufficiency of nature. A wonderful reminder that we are in and of the earth and that we need to be mindful of our real purpose here
What is that black fuzzy thing with what looks like a stem or tail in the photo?
The seedhead of the Gunnera Manicata.
Oh so so lovely 🙂

Gorgeous photos, message and poem. Wow!
There is such a pull for me at this time of year to be outside. Even more so when the sun shines but mostly because I don’t want to miss a moment of Nature unfolding and awakening. Good times.
And it seems now more than ever before…good times indeed, Sophie!
