  1. I’ve only just discovered your Youtube channel. The videos are both soothing and informative. As a master gardener I can appreciate all your hard work. I love what you’ve done with the place! It would be a dream come true to live where you live but unfortunately not in the cards. My husband and I are in our 70’s and I’ve had a knee replacement so we’ve recently moved to a one story and landscaped our backyard specifically to suit our needs with 32″ high raised beds. We’ve planted native conifers, evergreens and various deciduous trees and shrubs to create a hedge row of sorts surrounding the raised beds. We are in a new suburban development but have become a sanctuary for birds and pollinators… and us!

Your frustration with the unrest in the world is completely relatable, however, wish you would be specific when you blame “the government” as that includes many hard working, well meaning, career professionals who don’t make the controversial decisions. You have been saying “politicians” or “elected people” of late and that is a little better.

Would like to add that my state government plants trees. My county and city governments plant trees. 3 trees are planted for every tree harvested. There are endless tree growing programs in this country. It is illegal to cut down an oak tree where I live.

Thank you for what you’ve created and for sharing it with the world. I hope it’s an inspiration to others.

  2. Collette, thank you so much for all you do for Mother Earth. Thank you for your Utube videos.
They have been an inspiration to me for years. The video the other day was great. You inspired me to bring more of my greenery inside “and use some oasis”.
Thank you for all your blessings!

  3. I just discovered you and I am sure it was divine intervention. I am of Irish descent living in Canada(Alberta) and feel very connected to you and what you are doing. I am not much of a gardener but I do live on a farm and raise cattle. I feel very connected to where I live and spend time everyday in the arms of Mother Nature. You remind me of my sister who is very much into food forests in the city and the wonders of permaculture. I have passed your info onto her as well. I look forward to spending more time with you. Best wishes and thank you for what you do.
    Carol
