Reincarnation

Finally…

My podcast on Reincarnation…Part 1.

Working in the garden allows me space to think…

Whether or not we believe in survival of consciousness after death, reincarnation, and karma, it has very serious implications for our behaviour.

Stanislav Grof

My whole belief system is that our paths are drawn for us. I believe in reincarnation. I believe we’re here to learn and grow. We choose how we come into this life based on what it is we have to learn. Some people have harder lessons than others.

Gillian Anderson

Reincarnation occurs because we decide that we haven’t learned enough lessons.

Sylvia Browne

The beliefs concerning reincarnation have great ethical impact on human life and our relationship to the world.

Stanislav Grof

For myself, I believe that we can all do better, live better, be kinder, more compassionate and care for Mother Earth…that is the way to raise our souls.

Colette O’Neill

We are not saints, we are human and so we should reflect, forgive ourselves and strive to live a better life, a joyful life!

Colette O’Neill

You don’t make your bed and have to lie in it…you make a fresh bed every morning of your life!

  1. Thank you Collette, once again you have organized and given voice, to my thoughts.
I plan to listen to this podcast several times, more food for thought.
Love to you and Miss Patsy.

  2. I agree with so much of this. I can only say , so many people live without thought of their actions at all, in fact thinking itself seems to be something they are mostly devoid of, sadly.

  3. Loved this post Colette, very thought provoking. Reading the comments made me well up, think it’s because I realise there are people who share my beliefs out there. You are truly inspirational, blessings to you and Patsy 🥰

  4. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Collette, I’m not sure that what I believe in is reincarnation but I do think that all living things give off energy some of which may be left behind after death. Not sure I would want to return here again to be honest with how horrible everything is and some people we definitely don’t want back here again lol xxx

  5. Hello Dear Colette,
For some reason the comment I left yesterday has not appeared, so I will try to recall what I wrote. Thank you so much for addressing this subject. It is always so interesting to hear what others think and believe regarding reincarnation. I have studied it for years too, and I have had a past life regression by a student of M. Newton. What I have learned over the years is that all things carry energy whether they be animal, mineral, plant, gas, light, vibration or human. We all carry the same energy/vibration as the Universal Source/God/Goddess, but at different levels or frequencies. When we transition, we never ‘die’, but rather we return to the Universal Source. Whether we return to this human form again, or to another form of energy in this earthly plane, or another realm or dimension, is entirely up to the soul lessons we need to learn under the guidance of our soul guides. Blessings to you my friend in Ireland…

  6. Wonderful chat on this subject. I love to hear about the Celts!! When I “awakened” back in 1989-1991, my whole belief system tilted. When I became aware; that despite the conservative, fear-based, religious dogma; that I had had shoved down my throat as child; – that I absolutely — not only believed in reincarnation; but had an “inner ding” that this was part of my Path; my whole life changed. I stopped trying to kill myself – and agreed; on a very conscious soul level; to stay here and try to work out my spiritual lessons. But that’s a whole other story! 🙂 And what a Journey it’s been! And continues to be. I am now 63. There is also the idea of parallel lives…with the idea that we sometimes visit those simultaneous lives/versions of ourselves…in our dreams. Another aspect of this idea is that we will vibrate – to like minds/souls…So that if version of earth is destroyed by the violence and hate; that those of us that keep trying to choose love and forgiveness – we will be in a calmer version of the earth. I know! It sounds far out!! But they are VERY interesting topics! So grateful that my friend Lelia, introduced your channel to me, Colette – some years ago. Keep on a rockin’!!! And many, many, continued Blessings to you, Patsy and Bealtaine.

  7. Thank you for sharing. There is so much I could write here about the timing of this post and how some of your words resonate deeply. Rest assured there are those of us who discuss personal morality, ethics and values within higher education with our future healthcare practitioners. My role in this, my last lifetime, is to assist others to reflect on the choices and responsibilities we all have aregarding our behaviour towards all other living souls. And, also encourage disussion on how to embed this in our professional and personal lives. Your post has further confirmed my journey. The 2nd message to confirm this in 2 days.

  8. I love to hear your perspective on things. I also believe all living things have souls.thank you for your wise thoughts and words. Blessings to you and miss patsy💚

  9. Well the Bible has something to say about our thoughts.

Philippians 4:8 King James Version (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

We need to focus out thoughts on the good things, the positive things that are all around us and send out that positivity to others. Then let those positive thoughts lead us in our actions with others.

  10. Dear Colette

It’s so wonderful when you hear other people explaining your own view of things. It’s like listening to yourself. And that gives me confidence and strength to carry on.
I see a lot of things the same or very similar to you.
I’m sure that it’s not my first time here on earth. And some people I meet for the first time in this life seem familiar to me and I’m sure that I know them from before.

Since I was a little child, it’s been beyond question for me that everything alive has a soul. And that’s how I treat everything. Always with respect and consideration, just as I would like to be treated myself.

When I hear or read about the Celts and their beliefs, it often feels to me as if I already carry this knowledge within me. It all makes sense to me and I know that a lot of it is anchored in my heart.
Just as I’ve been sure for as long as I can remember that I belong in Ireland. All of this may sound far-fetched or over-mystified for someone who doesn’t believe in more than what he can see and touch, but it was never that for me. It was simply a part of my soul that had taken something from the past with it. I am convinced of that.

And I’m sure my soul once will return to Ireland.

I wish you all a good night and pleasant dreams

  11. Dear Colette, My understanding of reincarnation is very much still a process. I’ve studied Michael Newton, Joseph Campbell, Deepak Chopra, Sarah Elkhaldy et al, and I have had a past life regression myself from a student of Newtons. I believe that we are all a part of Universal consciousness, the Source, to which we will all return to in the space between lives. I also believe that our soul chooses to return in order to continue our learning here on this earthly stage and many other realms and dimensions. Our journey is very individual to each soul, and is guided by other souls who have the sole purpose of teaching. We are deeply interconnected to all energies in this Universe whether they be animal, mineral, ether/gas, plant or human. All things carry energy. I’ve had experiences in my personal, and professional life as a nurse, where there is no doubt in my heart that we never die. We, as human souls, are far more interconnected to each other and to the Earth and the Cosmos that we realize….

  12. How amazing that you made this podcast today! I was just about to write a substack about my own late-life regression, and what it meant to me!

  13. This is a very interesting subject Colette. When I was listening to your thoughts, in the back of my mind I could hear Shirley Bassey and the Propellerheads performing “History Repeating”. In my own life (I too am of the 68 yrs young group) as I look back, every rung on my ladder to the me that is now, has been about learning and new experiences combined with thoughtful thinking and sharing. In a Universal perspective, I do agree with you in the sense of a collective pool of knowledge that can be increasingly enhanced or degraded, continually, a bit like a university lending library ie., you can only take out what has been put in. Wouldn’t it be thrilling to have us all sit in your pergoda with a mug of something warm and share our thoughts and voices? Stay well and positive Colette. xxx

  14. I too agree wholeheartedly! I’ve been here before and will be back again with the same mission… to help our Blessed Mother Earth and all beings who live upon her in whatever way I’m guided to help. There is so much I need to learn and so much to do. We’re all works in progress. But in the end, it is all about Love!

  15. Thank you Colette, as always you give me a lot to think about and I will ponder on this for a while I am sure.
    Blessings

  16. Colette, as always the profundity of your impressions and thoughts cut right through the bs of the mundane. The prospect of Reincarnation keeps us honest and propels is to strive to live a better life as well as become better versions of ourselves. You and your inspirational path continue to inspire me and my work in this life so much so that the next time around, I hope that I’ve earned the privilege to come back as a dog rather than a human. Blessings!xx

  17. Thank you Colette for speaking on this profound topic that seems to be awakening around the world. I see articles in the mainstream media now as well. As a Buddhist I always believed in reincarnation, but did not fully understand the significance. I recently read a book called My Journey Through Time by Dena Merriam, where after 40 years of serious meditation images and replays of previous lives clearly appeared to her. She recounts seven lives in this book, how one led to the next experience, and how it affected the work she does in this life. It has made me pay much more attention to all my actions, not for fear of future karma or ‘correction’ but of understanding how much ability we have to do good and how small actions have great importance when done with love. We truly are creators. What you have created at Bealtaine will have rippling affects for Mother Earth for years to come. 12 years ago I began to watch your videos and then two years later I bought land and have been caretaking and planting in the spirit with which you care for the land and life there. All I can say is I am so so grateful to you for forging ahead and sharing your love for the Earth and making it possible for us to take part in your journey. Blessings to you and Patsy. Jack always has a place in my heart. – Mari
