Holistic Spirituality

During the course of our lives, we evolve with, and through, wisdom and experience.
My own journey in life is one of joined up dots, in that no aspect of my life is separate from any other part of it.
Staying close to mother Earth has been and continues to be hugely important for me.
I have found a deep and meaningful sense of the Divine through tending my garden and growing my woodland.
Respect and love for mother Earth has brought me a spiritual grounding that joins all the dots of my physical and metaphysical existence.
In tending to her needs, I feed my soul and am enriched.
Blessings to you all on this beautiful day. May your heart be filled with joy and love for all creation. Blessings XXX Colette and Patsy.

  2. Thank you Colette! Once again I needed this like a flower loves the rain.
You always hit home in my heart. 💜

  3. Lovely. Thank you for your beautiful pictures and inspiring words, Colette!

  4. I was just thinking of you this morning and now again with all the rain we’ve been getting in Virginia US. So glad you have temperate weather there. I’m grateful for the rain. Feeds the land I’m on and my soul, as does your sharing, Colette.
Blessings to you, through the elements, from Harmony Haven in Roseland Virginia 🌳💗🌳

  5. Thank you Colette for another beautiful post.
Your posts are balm for the heart in difficult times.
Mother Nature is a true healer.

  6. Good Morning Colette and Patsy. There are so very many Blessings in all of your posts and photos. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Wishing you all the Blessings and joyful days coming your way. As always your gardens take my breath away. Thank you.

  7. My mother had the same attributes & was very in tune to the spiritual realm around us as well. It seems I’ve been given the same gifts which I’ve naturally embraced. I wish more people understood that you can build a life you choose, anywhere. Do what you can with what you have, where you are.

  8. It’s punishingly hot and humid in southern Ontario right now, so I go out into my garden at 6am to do my bits of tending before the sun gets too high in the sky. It started out as a practical solution but has quickly become a sacred time. Connecting with Nature is what’s keeping me sane these days! Thank you for another glimpse into your beautiful world.

  9. Dear Colette, I have been reading your posts and following your videos on FB for a number of years. Your beautiful home and gardens are an inspiration and encouragement. I’m very happy to see your return to more regular blogging as I have been considering leaving FB for all the usual reasons, especially because I see more unsolicited advertising than posts from friends and family. Looking forward to more of your posts, Betty in Ontario

  10. How lovely you describe the feeling I share with you: “In tending her needs, I feed my soul and am enriched.” That is just beautiful.

  11. I am so thankful that you are now posting on your blog. Since I do not do Facebook, Instagram, etc reading your insightful thoughts and seeing the beautiful pictures of your gardens in my email are truly welcomed every morning as I enjoy coffee in my garden amid the birdsong.

  12. The physical & metaphysical connection is one most people will never understand. The connection w/nature is what I miss most, having sold our old homestead & moved to a senior apt bldg. I long for the quiet & peace of my side-road. Your images melt my heart. Thank you for sharing.

  13. Good Sunday morning Colette. Its after 7am here. Another dark, rainy day in New Hampshire. It was refreshing to drink my coffee and take a tour of your lovely acres. So peaceful. We are finished with calving. Seventeen red and white babies bouncing after their mother’s in the fields. Our haying is on hold. We have decided to only cut & bale around 150 instead of 300 because we cannot get them into the barn ahead of the rain. Enjoy your walks with Patsy. I am confident that she came along at just the right time. Its about her as well and she needed you in her life. Blessings ~ Diane

  15. Beautiful, serene, and ethereal… thank you for all you share, Collette. 💖🌻

  16. Dear Colette, I hope you know just how much I appreciate your beautiful words and pictures. They really are a lifeline at the moment. I am lucky to have access to an area of woodland directly from my garden gate. It is public access but isn’t frequented by anyone but me so I am currently contemplating planting nature friendly hedging like hawthorn and fruiting shrubs in Autumn … blackcurrants, gooseberries and maybe some rhubarb in a clearing that gets full sun. Of course, Bealtaine is my inspiration and Mother Nature the world’s best medicine. Have a blessed day, my friend, sending much love and gratitude to you and Patsy 🙏💚

  17. Bless you Colette and precious Patsy.
Your posts sustain my spirit in so many ways. And I always wish you Joy, Happiness and Peace.
