It is very hot and very, very dry.
The well has dropped low and trickles down to the cottage, threatening water supply to the tank in the loft.
Plants are thirsty and the rain barrels are empty.
A potential disaster ensues if the clouds don’t spill the rain soon!
However, there is always an upside…sometimes one just has to search around a little.
I found it!
This is perfect weather for harvesting seed that is ripe and there are lots of it!
The seed is dry and the air is dry…that makes for perfect harvesting in my experience!
And so I harvested…
There is always an upside!
Brill….and there I was wondering what the upside was…..grin
Times are desperate……
Good Cheer Colette…
Blessings of abundance to you Pennie

We had a similar situation here in India last year.. It was very hot and very very dry.. Then the clouds opened up.. and rained. It has since then been raining continously… for almost two months now! The end to every drought would be the starting of abundance… 🙂
I am just imagining that lovely scene on this hot, dry morning…sheer abundance, I agree!
Whereabouts in India are you living? I hear Dr Vandana Shiva talk of her childhood home in the Himalayas and am captivated! Lovely to hear from you! Colette 🙂
I live in the southern parts of India, near the Western Ghat mountains. Please take a look at my blog on country side living in South India… http://ArtBeautySociety.wordpress.com/
I will indeed…thanks for the link!
I have just been taking seed from the red Valerian.
