  1. Granada and Radio Rentals were two other TV rental companies, although we used a local TV shop from Harbury i Warwickshire! As for the money running out , we had a small pile of 2/- pieces ready !! As TV was not worshiped in the way it is these days it really didn’t matter that we sometimes missed something ( barely a minute). We had this system from the fifties right up until 1975 ( minus the coin collection box latterly!!). Thank goodness I am able to manage quite nicely with little or no TV now!!
