Bog Oak Pendants

I have included the Tree of Life charm to my ancient Irish Bog oak pendants. The tree of life is a fundamental archetype in many of the world’s mythologies, religious, and philosophical traditions. It is closely related to the concept of the sacred tree.

The Tree of Life is an ancient Celtic symbol of balance, harmony and rebirth … Powerful, sacred, wise beyond measure and a portal to the otherworld.

The Celtic knot is a complete loop that has no start or finish and is said to represent eternity whether this means loyalty, faith, friendship or love. The Celtic Knot is particularly representative of the eternal soul, as the Celts held belief in the Transmigration of the Soul. (I have written about this on the website and talked about it in many YouTube videos.)

Derived from the Greek word “Triskeles” meaning “three legs“, the Triskele or Triple Spiral is a complex ancient Celtic symbol. Often referred to by many as a Triskelion, its earliest creation dates back to the Neolithic era, as it can be seen at the entrance of Newgrange, Ireland. The Celtic Triskele was a symbol that had various meanings linked to the sun, triadic Gods, and the three domains of land, sea, and sky. A fusion of understanding…

The Goddess represents the embodiment of Mother Earth and the Divine Feminine. On a cosmic or universal level, we can relate to Mother as a sacred being.  Devi, a term from the Hindu religion and philosophy means goddess. It is one of the terms or metaphors used when discussing the divine.  Perhaps most importantly, Devi is the archetype of the Mother as a primordial symbol in all cultures and at all times. It signifies the feminine aspect of divinity, god, or consciousness.

    • Thank you Carole…it just all happened on a rather difficult day for me and I felt the best way forward was closure by deleting the video. I expect we all have days of low energy and subsequent sensitivity. All’s well that ends well!
      Blessings X

  7. I am so happy that I ordered this pendant – the monolith version. I’ve worn it just about every day since I received it! Just looking at it calms me and helps me remember that I’m just one essential part of this earth. And yet, whatever I do to celebrate my existence should reflect the natural world. Giving back is gratitude.
