A special post for those of you who have shown interest in my knitting project.

Knitting Pattern
Measure neck and add looseness to measurements!

Knit a long rectangle in stocking stitch according to measurements.
This one was knitted using size 9 needles and chunky wool.

Decide on depth as you knit! I knit one lower side longer than the other by about 10 stitches. This allows the scarf to sit easily on the lower neck/chest.

Cast off and stitch both ends. Simple pattern, adjust with wool, colour, stitches etc. 😊

Looks lovely
I will give it a try
Blessings x
Think I’ll knit one in the round 😁
I really like the colors you choose for the scarfs.
A beautiful skein of wool yarn and a simple pattern make for a satisfying evening (or morning) knitting. Such a gratifying piece of art to warm the soul.
❤️🧡💚💙💜 Thanks for sharing the mobius of color. Yuletide Blessings!
Hi Collette, I love the knitting pattern and its simplicity, yet there is one part of your instructions that I just can’t get my head round!?!😁 It’s the part where you say “extend on one side for 10 inches” – I have a brain freeze!😁 If there’s any chance you could explain it further – as though you’re explaining it to a 2yr old! – I’d really appreciate it. Thank you 😊
Imagine a rectangle, short side 10 inches deep.
I taught myself last year after struggling so persevering essential and made myself scarfs.
Thank you Collete for sending me your introduction knitting project, they’re lovely and it is something I’m interested in trying. I am however, very interested in your planting scheme around your property and hope to discuss this with you at a later time, if you agree? Take care D
It’s so magical to see the beautiful creations you make. I am absolutely untalented when it comes to anything knitting and it just looks like a beautiful miracle.
Use circular needles. Then you won’t have to purl or sew up the edges.
Thank you for the pattern Collette. I needed some inspiration and a simple design I can knit while watching podcasts.
Blessings Carolyn xx
I’ve made a few of these Colette a few years ago when you shared how to do them. I love them. You have lost alot of weight and are looking great xx
