I hear you Collette, and I mostly agree – especially about providing for our self-sufficiency and getting out of debt. However, I wonder what the oil use difference is between ship and air travel. Would a good start not be to halve our traveling plans, unless we have access to sail?
This article is so timely. It is a call for everyone to take stock and get ready for what appears to be looming. My husband and I have taken some important steps toward being ready.

Huge difference! I only travel when necessary…I will travel to London by rail/sea in 2016.
