Hello Collette, i have truely adopted your notion of ‘when something destructive is going on, be creative’. some adjacent land is now sold to my garden which seriously peeved me no end but since listening to your gentle persuasion to plant abundantly and not be afraid to plant into rocky soil terrain, i have ordered a pointy shovel spade and plant a tree or shrub every morning and evening. this is long overdue but now a committment to my land 1/3 acre of quarry garden.

I have only just started watching your videos on youtube, and I adore your cottage, your beautifully magical garden, and the way you live your life .. something I definately aspire to. I lived in Dublin for 3 years as a student, and travelled all around the country during that time, and fell in love with the country and the culture .. it had a long lasting impact on me. I live in florida now and take great joy in working in my land, planting more trees, shrubs, herbs and flowers, and creating my own secret garden …

Enjoyed A Cottage and Three Acres. I live in my Polish grandmother’s farmhouse in the northeast USA. There’s only a couple of acres left of the farm but my rescue dogs, cats, chickens and ducks enjoy it, also Benny the giant bunny. I retired June 2020 and love being home, more time to plant!

Good morning Colette! I’m rediscovering the joy of Bealtaine Cottage after a break away. After being caught up in the fear of what’s happening in the world, I realised for my own sanity that I needed to come back to basics and a slower way of be-ing. So here I am. I spent the past weekend watching your YouTube videos and they bought me such a sense of grounded-ness and peace. Thankyou. I’m in Australia and as you know, we are going through harsh lockdowns in places. I am lucky to have my own little pocket of land to escape to. While not as large as Bealtaine, it’s a beautiful space and productive. I have hens, I make sourdough and soap. Thankyou so much for sharing your life, it helps me so much. Blessings to you xx
