For several years now it has waited patiently in the shed for someone with a good idea…who just happened to come along this week.
Doesn’t it look great?
Meanwhile…in the kitchen I prepared some wholesome juice, using organic produce from the gardens…
Much of what I harvest is added to stir-fries too.
Meanwhile, Missy Cat is enjoying the sunshine, while keeping an eye on me!
That is a great frame! And now it’s found a great home.
A beautiful frame indeed. But I wonder where some people’s sense of worth has gone. They calculate their own worth in money earned or invested or whatever. Not in what they can do, their skills or contribution to community. The creator of that frame lovingly crafted it with little monetary reward. You can see where I’m going here. Time we acknowledged our own worth within a larger community, that of all creation. We can feed each other, clothe each other, care for each other. Without banks, insurance, or Monsanto!
So succinctly put…and a philosophy worth adopting!
Missy Cat is so interesting. I love your recycling project. I have used the blackboard paint and love it.. Your ingredients for supper look so good. Do you have some sort of machine to make you vitamin rich drink. Thats a wonderful idea and being able to use the freshest ingredients from the garden.
My best to you all

wool still drying, dreadful wet weather, package will be sent soon
Hopefully the weather will improve soon, Carole…it has certainly been very unpredictable here, with the seasons appearing to dodge in and out of Winter and Summer all the time!
The juice is very sustaining for me. I was given a juicer by a friend who was upgrading hers to a bigger model. It is a great asset! This morning I juiced apple, carrots and kale then put the juice into the blender, with raw oats and frozen blackcurrants I saved last year…it was yummy and has sustained me right into the afternoon! I would highly recommend a juicer for anyone who grows food, or has access to fresh organic produce.
That is indeed a very nice frame. Enjoy it together with your beautiful plants, thank you so much for the wonderful visit, Kristina and I enjoyed it very much and your seeds are already sown! Have a good week,
Claudia
It’s lovely to hear from you and that you enjoyed your visit to Bealtaine Cottage…it was lovely to meet you.
Blessings to you both X
